CONTESTS AND CREATIVITY AND PRIZES – OH MY!
Since I’m telling these stories for you – my treasured readers – and because of all the great response and feedback I’ve received from you, it suddenly struck me that it would be fun to come up with more ways for you to get involved with the whole process. So, how about it? Who’s feeling creative?! Here are my ideas so far:

NAME THE WAND CONTEST
As you know, one of Celine's most prized and useful possessions is her wand – or "incant-baton," as such magical implements are called in her stories. In the world of magic, these potent tools often bear names, bestowed by their creators, or those who wield them. So far, the name of Celine's trusty incant-baton has not been revealed. And this is where I need your help! Would you give me a hand by suggesting a name? I will carefully review all the suggestions I receive, and select the one that seems to be the perfect fit – then weave it into an upcoming book in the Dragons of Nibiru series.
Here's the wand you'll be naming:
Now, a contest should have a prize, right? Right! As it happens, in this contest, you get to choose between two prizes. That's right. The winner will have his or her choice of one of the dragon sculptures shown below:

To enter, simply send me your suggestion or suggestions using the contact form you'll find here. You're welcome to submit as many names as you like.
Here's a suggestion for you, too: Several readers have submitted some "back story" along with their name suggestions. Details like the wand's composition, origins, special powers and the like. I've loved every one of these! Such details are definitely not necessary or required, but they could be a help when it comes to making my ultimate choice. They're good exercise for your "creativity muscles," too!
The deadline for submitting names is December 15 of this year (2019). I plan to announce the winner before the year is out!
Good luck, and happy naming. I truly look forward to hearing from you!

THE ARTWORKS OF NIBIRU
In my travels across Canada to meet fans of Celine and Fianna and introduce people to their world, I’ve been surprised and delighted at the artwork their friends have shared with me. That includes some surprisingly talented younger artists! There’s really nothing that makes me happier than seeing young creative talents in bloom, so here’s my next idea: If you’re an artist, younger or older (or are blessed with one in your home), would you send in photos or scans of your favorite Dragons of Nibiru-inspired creations? I’d love to see them – and, with your permission, I’d love to post them on my website, too! I'm also thinking of including some reader artwork in later books in the series! So please contact me using the contact form, and I’ll share the simple details of how to send them.

SCOUNDREL DISPOSAL CONTEST
I think you’ll all agree that sooner or later, Scabbage must go. It’s true that any tale like Celine and Fianna’s needs a good villain. (Well, okay – a really bad villain, but you know what I meant.) But enough is enough, and such evil just can’t be allowed to go on forever. The bad guy has to be dealt with, so everyone can get on with their lives and adventures and confront newer and bigger challenges. So, here’s my question: How do YOU think the poor, twisted Scabbage should meet his end? I’d love to hear the reasons behind your choice, too. Please send your suggestions using … yes, you guessed it: the contact form. When I’ve chosen the one I think Scabbage would dread the most, the person who suggested it will be invited to help write that fateful chapter – and his or her name will appear in that book, too!
