Hi All, Things have been going well since bookstores re-opened their doors to book-signings, post-covid. I have been keeping busy, usually doing two signings per week. That’s slowing down a bit now, since stores hold few such events during the last couple of months of the year. The good news is that despite only three signings booked in November, we’ve reached a major milestone! On Friday, November 11, at the signing event held at the great little Coles store in Vernon, a reader bought the 7,500th Dragons of Nibiru book sold since mid-2017, when I began this exciting adventure! In the photo you can see young Cash with the milestone 7,500th copy. With him is his younger sister Emerson, ready to cast a spell!
One might think that 7,500 books is not very many. But did you know that the great majority of books sell just 250 to 300 total copies? I can tell you I was surprised to learn that! So, needless to say, I am quite proud of achieving this milestone in just a bit over five years. Next goal: 10,000 books!! All the best wishes, and happy reading! Lorna
