Hi All, Summer has finally arrived! Woot! I hope that you’ve been able to enjoy the season, and spend time with family and loved ones. It’s hard to believe that we are mid 2022 already, but here we are. The weather is still a little coolish here in the Okanagan, but for the July 1 Westside DaZe parade it was just perfect. Speaking of time, there’s still time to enter the draw to win the book box shown down below, titled “Dragons and More Dragons.” The box will be with me at all of my book-signings and workshops in the next few weeks. You can see my schedule below, too. I’ll have an entry box on my table at the signings, so come on down and fill out an entry slip when I’m in your area! Every few months there will be a new draw, so if you miss out on this one, there will still be chances to enter later on. This particular draw ends on Saturday, October 15. Good luck! Saturday, July 2, found me in Salmon Arm, BC, at their Piccadilly Mall. There I conducted my first book-signing since covid restrictions were implemented, way back in March of 2020. Wow! That seems so long ago! It sure felt great to be out talking to readers and book buyers again. It was a great day and I had a blast. There were coffee, donuts and cookies to share as I celebrated the release of my fourth book, Dragons of the Past. In the photo above, Nora-Lyn from Kamloops visits my table in front of Salmon Arm’s great little bookstore, Bookingham Palace. Peter, the store manager, can be seen in the background. Peter is a permanent fixture at Bookingham, known by many of the locals and tourists — he has worked there for more than 18 years. Below is my schedule of book-signings and writing workshops schedule for the rest of the summer. Boy, am I ever going to be busy! Seeing as I am my own scheduler, I don’t have anyone to blame but myself for the full agenda. I still work a day job, so I will definitely be busy. The book-signing dates and times are all a go, but a couple of the writing workshops may change slightly. So, in a week or so, I will confirm the workshop times. The one with the purple crystals is Mutuum, featured in Dragons of the Past. The wooden one (second from top) was made by a friend. Alexi and his family are on holidays from Germany, enjoying the beauty BC has to offer. He stopped in to check out and purchase one of my books. I look forward to seeing YOU at one of these events. Meanwhile, enjoy your summer, happy reading, and as always, dream big!
