Welcome!
A friend told me I really ought to start a blog, now that The Dragons of Nibiru was finally out. I didn’t know much about what a blog was – but once I found out, it was clear that friend was right. So here I am, blogging! And looking so, so forward to meeting and connecting with those (many, I hope!) who enjoy my stories, and to sharing my adventures in writing and publishing. Adventure #1, writing The Dragons of Nibiru, began more than a year ago. There’s a whole tale to tell about that, but I’ll save it for future posts here. Then there’s Adventure #2: publishing. I thought the real work was over when I’d finished the writing. Ha! Little did I know… Now I’ve plunged into Adventure #3: the big, big adventure of making the book known, encouraging people to read it, and enjoying the interactions that follow! Finally, there’s Adventure #4: the adventure – or rather, adventures – of writing the next books in the series, and sharing those with all the people who’ve become fans of Celine, Fianna and their worlds. Your thoughts, reactions and suggestions are so very welcome here. Please don’t hesitate to share them! And please feel free to respond to others who post here, too. Let’s have a big conversation, eh? The boss (okay, that’s me…) told me to be sure I remind you where you and your friends can find the book. So here you go: * You can order a printed copy from the U.S. distributor, right here. * You can order a printed copy from Amazon, or from the Canadian distributor, right here. * You can download an e-book copy from Amazon, right here. By the way, even if you don’t have an Amazon Kindle, you can still read the e-book version using Amazon’s free “Kindle Reader” app. It works on laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets. Very cool. And did I mention it’s free? (Oh. Yeah. I did. Well, it is!) Oh! I just remembered one more thing: someone suggested I offer signed copies, too. Well, I’ll have to figure out how to do that, and tell you how you can get one. That will be the subject of a future post. Okay, that’s it for the marketing stuff. Again, welcome to my website, and to my blog! I hope you’re enjoying the book, and hope you’ll be part of the conversation. All the best to you! Lorna

My reading has slowed up a bit recently but I finally got a chance to start your book, the Dragons of Nibiru. I have not finished yet but wow, what a ride. Loving it. The story was most certently not thought up in a week or two.

Hi, Anthony! Thanks for posting. I'm very glad to hear you're enjoying the adventures of Celine and her friends - and that you're looking forward to their further exploits. You're right, these first excursions across the universe took more than a week or two to record, but I surely enjoyed the ride. What's coming next is even wilder; you won't be disappointed! I'm hoping to have it ready for you by this December. Thanks again, and do check back here now and then for the latest news and predictions!

Yesterday I met you at a Chapters you were so inspirational and you gave me an idea. Last year I moved here from the states and I came to a school that was only a couple of years old and didn’t have many books at all. I decided we needed more books and we raised at least two thousand books for my library. After I met you I got an idea I could have you and a couple of other Canadian Authors as well as you, to come to our school so we can promote more reading. All of this is for next year definitely, but I think that if two more years of promoting literacy at my school we all will be much better off. I hope kids at my school can love reading as much as you and I do. Thank you so much for inspiring me. I hope I will see you next year.
